I May Be Moving Again…
Posted by Mark on March 26, 2010
I’m considering moving back over to WordPress. While I like Blogger, and the upgrades Google has made over the years are phenomenal, the templates are still limited, and don’t allow me to play with the CSS and HTML the way I would like. I’ve not made a firm decision yet, and would be interested in any feedback from folks either way. Send me an email, or comment.

Apollo 13: 40 Years Later
Posted by Mark on March 26, 2010
I grew up with astronauts. Well, not really. Never got closer than when my Dad took me to a NASA presentation at the Masonic Lodge sometime in the early ’70’s. They had real, honest to goodness Moon rock. Moon grain, really. But wow!
One of the things we always thought we “knew” was that if Apollo 13 had missed the reentry window, the 3 Astronauts would have either burned up, or skipped off Earth’s atmosphere to spend eternity in space…

Crying…or crying wolf?
Posted by Mark on March 25, 2010
Surely you remember back to September, when Nancy Pelosi tearfully related her fears of violence.
If Speaker Pelosi and her cohorts were so concerned about violence, tell me why they did this:
They plowed right through all those “violent” Tea Party protesters.
And the only weapon in view was being held by Nancy Pelosi.
