A Winning Pitcher for the Cubs…

Posted by Mark on July 31, 2006

…therefore he HAS to be traded to the Dodgers. Maddux.jpg

There are times when I hate being a Cubs fan. This is one of them.

The 40-year-old Maddux, who earns $9 million in this final season of his contract, has 327 career wins, four Cy Young Awards and 15 Gold Gloves.

I’ll Trade You Chuck Hagel For Some Cash and A Player To Be Named Later

Posted by Mark on July 31, 2006

RINO Hagel.

Today is the trading deadline for Major League Baseball teams. I think it NECESSARY that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party agree to the same format. Each year, they should agree to trade those senators who best represent the opposing party. Therefore, I propose a trade…..

I’ll trade you Chuck Hagel for Joe Lieberman in a straight up swap.

Urging President Bush to turn all U.S. efforts toward “ending this madness,” a leading Republican senator Monday broke with the Bush administration and called for an immediate cease-fire in the Mideast.

“The sickening slaughter on both sides must end and it must end now,” Nebraska Sen. Chuck Hagel said. “President Bush must call for an immediate cease-fire. This madness must stop.”

Uh oh….(audible groan from those with an IQ above 90)…Hagel has invoked the dreaded ‘moral equivocation’ clause. A ruse perfected by every liberal and LOON in Western civilization. Hagel suffers from it…and now I’m suffering having to listen to him. it a deal….the trade?

The moonbats and leftwing nuts who have HIJACKED the Democratic Party don’t want any part of Joe Lieberman. Likewise, I don’t know of a single conservative in the entire U.S. who would miss Chuck Hagel if he left the Republican Party.

“How do we realistically believe that a continuation of the systematic destruction of an American friend — the country and people of Lebanon — is going to enhance America’s image and give us the trust and credibility to lead a lasting and sustained peace effort in the Middle East?” asked Hagel, the No. 2 Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Well Chucky wucky…as soon as you stop giving credibility to Hezbollah and their SYSTEMATIC destruction of innocent Jews, we might give a rat’s ass about what you say….otherwise shut your PIEHOLE.

I know that asking for Lieberman…makes the trade terribly one-sided….so I tell you what I’m going to do- I’ll give you Senator Chuck Hagel AND Senator George Voinovich. Okay…okay…I didn’t want to do this…….for the last time…please…please…

I’m begging you- TAKE HAGEL.

The U.N. DEMANDS, and the WORLD Shakes

I am sure Ahmadi-wackjob is shaking in his boots.

UN Council set to demand Iran suspend nuclear work

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The U.N. Security Council was poised on Monday to adopt a resolution demanding Iran suspend its nuclear activities by the end of August or face the threat of sanctions.

Barring last-minute delays, the council has scheduled a vote on the document that demands Iran “suspend all enrichment-related and reprocessing activities, including research and development.”

If Tehran does not comply by August 31, the council would consider adopting “appropriate measures” under Article 41 of Chapter 7 of the U.N. Charter, which pertains to economic sanctions, says the draft.

The resolution is the first on Iran with legally binding demands and a threat to consider sanctions. The United States and its allies suspect Iran is developing a nuclear bomb and accuse it of hiding research over 18 years.

On the eve of the anticipated vote, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a news conference the resolution was unacceptable and his country had the right “to take advantage of peaceful nuclear technology.”

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi also warned on Sunday the resolution would create what he called a deeper crisis in the Middle East, but he did not elaborate.

The problem with the U.N. taking action is its history of inaction, or rather UN-action. Even this resolution requires at least three more before penalties apply. As usual the U.N. continues to be an ineffective, bloated body floating in the cesspool of international politics.

But at least now they are taking action in their slow megalithic manner.

Liberal Intelligence: The Real Oxymoron

Posted by Mark on July 30, 2006

With the accent on ‘moron’.

In the global war on terror, liberals are INCAPABLE of being honest about the mayhem caused by radical Islam. And that dishonesty mutes their ability to reason- to think things through. They cannot believe that there is evil in the world. In fact, to these cognitive lightwights, good and evil are ‘relative terms’. Terms used to describe characters in a book. Amazingly, that’s where liberals reside- inside a book…and not reality.

And because they control the media, these liberal Forest Gumps are allowed to exercise their dishonesty on a DAILY basis. If conservatives controlled the media….these writers would still be able to express their opinions, but their opinions would appear in children’s COMIC books- where they belong- afterall, their reasoning only makes sense to children.

Scanning the UK Times, I came across a typical liberal with what I call: SYNAPSE DISCONNECT Syndrome (or SDS). SDS suffering liberals love to interview murderers and killers….to get their ‘feelings’. To somehow humanize them… try and understand why they’ve strayed from normal society….to help us forgive them….and…oh heck…let’s just give them a big hug and forgive them.

I mean….what’s so terrible about blowing up 202 innocent people?

The venerable preacher named as a terrorist leader by the United States had a twinkle in his eye as he talked of his new mission to convert Indonesia, the world’s biggest Muslim nation, into what he calls an “Allahcracy”.

Abu Bakar Bashir is a free man after serving just over two years in jail for participating in the conspiracy to bomb two nightclubs in Bali in 2002. The suicide attacks killed 202 people, including 88 Australians, 38 Indonesians and 26 British citizens.

Give me a f%*&*#** break! Hold on to your hijab, let’s see what Merriam Webster has to say about venerable.

Venerable: calling forth respect through age, character, and attainments; broadly : conveying an impression of aged goodness and benevolence.

How can he be benevolent? He had a hand in murdering 202 people!

“…twinkle in his eye…” ?

WHAT IS THAT? So now he’s Santa Claus? A mass murderer has NEVER had a twinkle in his eye. Ever!

“Bali was a reaction,” said Bashir, who has learnt to measure his inflammatory words with care since our last interview at his Islamic boarding school, three weeks before the bombings on the holiday island.

“…since our last interview…”?

Great….nothing like keeping up a serial with a serial killer. Nothing says: I love you, like interviewing a MANIAC over and over.

Depending on your viewpoint, Bashir is either a terrorist mastermind guilty of inciting suicidal young men to commit mass murder, or a devout teacher victimised for espousing the fundamental truths of Islam.

“Depending on your viewpoint,..”?

No you stupid sonuvab****, there is no ‘depending”. Bashir was convicted, and by the grace of other appeasing cretins, set free. Read the whole article, it’s quite disturbing. Disturbing on a number of levels……second grade level and third grade level….to name TWO.

Interview With A Terrorist

Posted by Mark on July 29, 2006

Ever pick up a newspaper or sit reading an online news site…and as you’re perusing…you leap to your feet shouting “WTF”? I do that occasionally. Alright…alright….during these troubled times, it’s become frequent. You may want to avoid Reuters is especially adroit at making me jump and holler.

Buckle yourself in….it starts with this headline:

Hizbollah demands halt to “aggression”

Reuters….that loving nuanced moonbat reporting agency always comes up with a title that yanks my chain. And at this point I’m already reaching for my oxygen mask. Let’s review that title shall we? And class it’s time we went over this….so you won’t grow up to be an overeducated loon like Maureen Dowd or undereducated stupid b**** like Helen Thomas. The title implies….

…that Israel is the ‘aggressor’!
…Hizbollah is equal in power and world stature and therefore can “demand” and not “ask”!
…Hizbollah by ‘demanding’ already has the moral high ground!
…Reuters has ‘carte blanche’ access to Hizbollah’s leaders for interviews and reporting!

This is typical leftwing ‘moral equivalency’ thinking. Oh BTW….better put on some sunscreen for this next passage…otherwise you’ll do a slow burn:

In an interview with Reuters, Hizbollah’s deputy chief Naim Kassem demanded an immediate halt to “Israeli aggression”.

Asked how Hizbollah viewed U.S. demands for its guerrillas to disarm and make way for an international force in south Lebanon, Kassem said: “America and Israel have no right to get a result from their defeat. There is no (military) victory for America and Israel for them to make political gains.”

Pressed on possible deployment of such a force, he said Hizbollah had decided not to talk about this in public.

Okay class…let’s see if we can pick out what’s HORRIBLY WRONG with the above.

In an interview with Reuters? Are you kidding me? So what did Reuters do? Call them up…and say:

“Hey…Naim…how’s it going?” Listen…got time for me to go underground with you in a secret location so we can get your story without Israel and the Western countries knowing where we are? What’s that? In Syria…in Damascus…at the Chinese embassy? Okay…I’ll see if I can’t catch a U.N. helicopter…I should be there by six. What’s that? Oh…yah….and Allah Akbar to you too!”

“America and Israel have no right to get a result from their defeat”? Did I miss the memo? When did either of us LOSE?

Lesson is over….class dismissed.

Alleged Leaker Leaks his Subpoena?

Posted by Mark on July 29, 2006

For your consideration, I present Mr. Russell D. Tice, former defense systems specialist in the NSA, now “doing housing construction work.” Mr. Tice leaked his subpoena compelling testimony to this reliable source:

…the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition, which posted it on its Web site at The group was formed last year by Sibel Edmonds, a former F.B.I. translator who lost a court fight challenging her 2002 dismissal after the government invoked the state-secrets privilege, a legal doctrine it is also using to try to block lawsuits involving the security agency’s domestic surveillance program.

Now, correct me if I’m wrong. When you are given security clearance, you promise not to reveal classified infromation, period. It doesn’t matter if, in your opinion, it shouldn’t be classified. You promise, under penalty of law, not to leak it. Not to your wife, not to the dog, not to The New York Times, even anonymously. Sigh.

To Speak With an LA Times Writer: Press One For Spanish

Posted by Mark on July 28, 2006

America– get out your wallets…get your checkbooks out. Go ahead, HURRY UP….illegal aliens are waiting. Servicing them is priority one! The LA Times has outdone themselves today….I suggest you go get your blood pressure medicine:

6 + 4 = 1 Tenuous Existence

An illegal immigrant couple with six children were already living in poverty. Then the quadruplets arrived. They’re still in a daze.

Uh…SO ARE WE. Guess who pays for their PRODIGIOUS ability to reproduce?

On July 6, Magdaleno gave birth to two boys and two girls, drawing national media attention as a bewildered mother of 10 (with nine living at home). Now, she and her husband, Alfredo Anzaldo, 44, must figure out how to provide for everyone on Anzaldo’s maximum pay of $400 a week as a carpet installer.

OH REALLY? Hmmm..I wonder what the Spanish word for CONDOM is? (Probably something like ‘El Preventa’…) And just to make sure we’re all at the same Taco Stand, they know exactly how to provide for ‘everyone’.

They let American citizens pick up the tab!

Both Magdaleno and Anzaldo are illegal immigrants, settled for years in an immigrant enclave. Magdaleno has the same number of children as her parents, who were peasant farmers in Mexico. Like her parents, she is living in poverty and struggling to provide for her family. “It’s not sweet,” said her 36-year-old sister, Alejandra. “It’s very sad.

The life for girls back there in Mexico is the same as the one Angela has now. They marry and have children, and that’s their lives.”Neither Magdaleno nor her husband speaks English, though she has been in the United States 22 years and he 28. Even her teenage daughters speak mostly Spanish; their English vocabulary is limited.

Yet all of Magdaleno’s 10 children are U.S. citizens. The triplets receive subsidized school lunches. All the youngsters have had their healthcare bills covered by Medi-Cal, the state and federal healthcare program for the poor.

Someone get me a box of Kleenex. I’m not crying for them…heck no….I’m crying for ME- I have to pay for this #%&**#! mess.

Alfredo Jr. had been hospitalized all his life until recently. He’s had three state-funded brain operations and will require several more, the family said. The couple receive $700 in monthly Social Security payments to help with his medical needs.

Uh…..sir…excuse me, this check I’m writing to pay for Senor and Senora Spermatosa….do you need to see some form of ID?

A Veritable SMORGASBORD of Psychopaths

Posted by Mark on July 27, 2006

When you fight Muslim maniacs, you’re truly getting a bag of mixed NUTS. Telling one from another…..well….let’s just say yesterday- must’ve been exceptionally difficult:

Dozens of Israeli tanks and bulldozers backed by missile-firing drone aircraft pushed into the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, touching off a daylong battle that killed 23 Palestinians and wounded at least 70.

At least half of the Palestinian dead were fighters from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade and other groups.

Call me naive… me simple-minded….but when you’re sifting through the dead psychopaths…how can you tell Hamas from an Islamic Jihad?…or an Al Aqsa Martyrs murderer from a Palestinian? I mean- don’t they all look alike?

Maybe they identify them through dental records….and depending on how many teeth the crazed terrorist has: determines his group affiliation! Hmmm….Hezbollah seems to be the most organized, so they probably have a better DENTAL PLAN. Which means, they likely have most of their adult teeth.

But you could make an argument for Hamas. They recruit children….I guarantee….Xrays will show plenty of baby teeth.
