Tzipi De Do Da Day!

Posted by redsatellite on July 31, 2008

Ehud Olmert’s reign of surrender is over. Olmert the Appeaser will be stepping down. Finally. I thought for sure he would be gone by the fall of 2006…but he managed to hang on until yesterday. The recent grafting, the constant capitulation to the Palestinians, the EMASCULATED response to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

All of it…blessedly…added up.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert intends to hand his resignation letter to President Shimon Peres the day after the September 17 Kadima primary and ask him to entrust the new party leader with forming a new government, Olmert’s associates said Wednesday night.

In his 8 p.m. speech, broadcast live here and abroad, a defiant and almost tearful Olmert lashed out at Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and other adversaries without naming them and vowed to keep the peace process with the Palestinians and Syria moving forward until he left office. He referred bitterly to his opponents as “self-styled fighters for justice.”

Unfortunately, the Kadima party will still be in power. And the odds on replacement is- the above mentioned Ms. Tzipi Livni. Olmert’s appeasement days are over. I hope the new leader…

…doesn’t catch his disease.

Are You a Republi-can or a Republi-CAN’T?

Posted by redsatellite on July 30, 2008

In the movie: Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Johnny Depp’s CIA character sneers-‘Are you a MexiCAN or a MexiCANT?

Well…meet the RepubliCANTS.

Ted Stevens‘s indictment yesterday could not have occurred at a more politically inopportune time for the senator from Alaska or for his fellow Republicans.

Republicans entered this election at a numerical disadvantage — 23 seats to defend, compared with 12 for Democrats — and have caught almost no breaks. Five Republican senators opted to retire and one resigned office last December, including incumbents in Virginia and New Mexico, where Democrats are strongly favored in the fall. Senate Republicans have fallen far behind their Democratic counterparts in fundraising.

That playing field emboldened Sen. Charles E. Schumer (N.Y.), chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, to openly muse to reporters last week about the prospect of winning nine seats in November, which would give Democrats a 60-seat majority in January. That number that would allow them to break Republican filibusters and exert true majority control of the legislative body.

ANYTIME you ’embolden’ Charles Schumer…you know you’re in deep- DEEP Kimchi. How bad is it? Uh….the entire party should seriously consider committing hari kari.

Some Republican strategists noted yesterday that Stevens’s legal problems could also jeopardize Alaska at the presidential level. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) has deployed staffers in the state, a sign that he intends to mount a serious campaign there. Political observers there cannot remember the last time a Democratic presidential candidate made a serious play for Alaska, which has not voted for a Democrat since President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964.

It gets worse. How’s this for a completely ridiculous insipid observation:

Republicans are in desperate need of new, fresh ideas and faces,” said one Republican strategist who closely follows Senate races. “Stevens should resign immediately. The only thing he does by staying in is continue to damage his party.”

No…you inept twit, the Republicans are in desperate need of ethical stalwart conservatives who can MAINTAIN conservative values and principles. You don’t need ‘new and fresh ideas’. What you need is…to live up to the ones you’ve already had in place for years. Stop embracing every cockamamie liberal cause that rears its UGLY UGLY head. (eg. Gore-bal Warming, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac bailout, Amnesty.)

The Republican Party has reached its NADIR..your apogee from the core- it’s bilious… mendaciousand yah- it puts me in a horrible mood!

Joe Cool

I mean…Cuil!

A brand new bouncing baby Search Engine was born yesterday. Yes. To 3 former Google employees now living in Menlo Park, California.

This isn’t just any David and Goliath story, however — the Menlo Park, Calif., startup is led in part by three former Google employees who claim theirs is a richer, more efficient experience.

Cuil (pronounced “cool”) Inc. says it is “pioneering a new approach to search,” one that begins with indexing 120 billion Web pages — three times more than Mountain View, Calif.-based Google, according to Cuil (though Google still claims to have the most comprehensive index of any search engine). It entails a completely different method of organization, relying on an analysis of the Web site’s content to determine its relevance.

This is in contrast to Google’s method, which ranks results based on analyzing links and traffic to a given site (something Cuil’s Web site refers to as “superficial popularity metrics”).

Superficial popularity metrics?

Nice SMACKDOWN! I’ve already loaded them onto my favorites list. The site looks- very cuil.

Iraq, Turkey, India…It Doesn’t Matter

Posted by redsatellite on July 28, 2008

Leftwing democrats and the liberal Media will tell you that the United States brought terrorism to Iraq. That it was ALL OUR FAULT. By engaging Muslim psychopaths, we brought it on ourselves. Yeah…well…they always seem to ignore a little bit of this…

The death toll from two weekend explosions in Turkey rose to 17 Monday after a wounded person died, the state news agency said. The blasts Sunday injured at least 154 others, the Anadolu news agency reported. Among the dead was a three-year-old child, it said.

and MOST of that.

Over the past several years, terrorist attacks in India have become an everyday presence in everyday places. The targets seem to have nothing in common except that they are ordinary and brazenly easy to strike.

And, in the most recent attack, 17 back-to-back explosions struck shoppers and strollers on Saturday evening in Ahmedabad in western India, and then two blasts hit the very hospitals where the wounded and their relatives rushed for help, killing 49 people and wounding more than 200.

Much of the problem with liberals and the Main Stream Media…of course…is their reluctance to identify and EXCORIATE the Islamic murderers. Typically, they will headline how many died…how many victims’ lives were ruined. But blame? Oh….well heck..they can’t do that! That would inflame the Muslims.

Boo hoo. Wah.

In the news report from Turkey, CNN chose to tell us who the killers might be in Paragraph 12. In the post from India, the NY Times barely even mention who the KNOWN killers are…whispering to us in paragraph 11! Not in the HEADLINE or the leading paragraph…

…paragraph ELEVEN.

In the past, we’ve seen terrorism in the UK, Spain, Canada, Philippines and a host of Non-Muslim countries. The brutal violence senseless- their reasons obscure and ridiculous. And yet liberals will blame everyone BUT THEM.

So….let’s face it…blaming the U.S. is a canard. And a liberal non-sequitur.

Calling Art Bell…

Posted by Mark on July 25, 2008

…or at least George Noori of Coast to Coast AM.
Edgar Mitchell was one of the few men to walk on the moon. That alone makes it hard to brush this off.

Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as ‘little people who look strange to us.’

He said supposedly real-life ET’s were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.

Chillingly, he claimed our technology is “not nearly as sophisticated” as theirs and “had they been hostile”, he warned “we would be been gone by now”.

Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.

“I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we’ve been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real,” Dr Mitchell said.

“It’s been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it’s leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.

“I’ve been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes – we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it’s been happening quite a bit.”

The Truth is Out There.

Dealing With the Devil: Second Act

Posted by redsatellite on July 25, 2008

Allah willing?

Yah….PLO psychopath and convicted CHILD killer Samir Kuntar wants to kill again. And he’s implored Allah to help him. Last week, in my post, I noted that Ehud Olmert would regret his decision to free this sub-human. Well….uh…Mr. O…um…Mr. Prime Minister…that day could be FAST approaching.

Days after his release last Wednesday, convicted Lebanese Druse terrorist Samir Kuntar told Arab television stations that he plans to earn a master’s degree in “military resistance” and reiterated his commitment to kill again.

A degree in ‘military resistance’? Now there’s an honorable academic pursuit. Hmmm….I wonder if he’s applied to Yale.

Kuntar said he was “proud” of killing Israelis, and “Allah willing, I will get the chance to kill more Israelis,” in an interview with Lebanon’s Future TV, according to a transcript provided by The Middle East Media Research Institute. Kuntar, who served 29 years in an Israeli prison for his part in killing a father and his daughter as well as an off-duty policeman in Nahariya in 1979, was released with four other Lebanese prisoners on July 16 in exchange for the bodies of IDF reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser.

Such a fine addition to Palestinian society.

Obama’s JFK Speech

Posted by redsatellite on July 24, 2008

The Obama World Tour stops in Berlin today. The media storm and comparison to JFK’s historic visit in June, 1963 is not lost on anyone.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama arrived in Berlin Thursday morning for a major public address to outline what American foreign policy would look like under his presidency.

German newspapers are predicting that upwards of 100,000 people will throng the central plaza of Berlin’s Tiergarten park where Obama will speak under a golden-winged statue of victory, a 19th century monument to defeats of France, Austria and Denmark in successive wars. More recently, the plaza has been a venue for wildly popular Love Parade techno parties.

If Obama was feeling any jitters before his much-anticipated appearance here, he wasn’t showing it. “I’m happy with the speech,” Obama told reporters aboard his plane. He said he’s been working on it for two weeks. “It’s not a wonkish policy speech.”

Ich bin ein Berliner!
The good news is…there’s no Berlin Wall for Obama to use as a prop. But, I’m sure the liberal press will elevate and attach a ridiculous ‘faux brilliance’ to an otherwise longwinded prosaic DECLAMATION.

San Francisco: Sanctuary for Murderers

Posted by redsatellite on July 23, 2008

Lo siento mucho!

I want San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom to say (…and in perfect accented Spanish no less) that to the WIFE of Anthony Bologna and his two children- Matthew and Michael.

Local and federal authorities in San Francisco are pointing the figure at each other over who is to blame for the March release of an illegal immigrant now charged with triple murder.

Officials from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department are blaming each other for the release of Edwin Ramos, 21, the Salvadoran national charged with the murders last month of Anthony Bologna and his two sons as they were returning home from a picnic.

Yep. On 3 different occasions…they could’ve deported this illegal murderer. But…no. It’s more important that the city defy federal law- and provide sanctuary to illegal aliens.

The case prompted public outcry after it emerged that when Ramos was 17, because of the city’s sanctuary policy, local officials did not contact the feds to determine his immigration status when he was convicted on two gang-related felonies. He also was arrested with an acquaintance earlier this year on a gun charge.

A father and his 2 sons are dead because of the city’s complete disregard for our country’s immigration laws. That is PROFOUNDLY unconscionable.

Chicken Liberal…The Sky is Falling…The Sky is Falling

Posted by redsatellite on July 22, 2008

The connection hit me like a lightening bolt. Chicken Little’s parents were both liberal moonbats. Which…quite literally- explains everything:

Ebola Virus?
Avian Influenza?
Killer Bees?
Global Warming?

Yep. All of those were/are/will be PANDEMICS. Humanity facing extinction…massive death. Each and every day-urban newspapers scream one new panic outbreak after another. Non-stop verbal kerosene and a match. Now..from the liberal rag- The Independent- comes this report:

The world is failing to guard against the inevitable spread of a devastating flu pandemic which could kill 50 million people and wreak massive disruption around the globe, the [British] Government has warned.

The Government said: “While there has not been a pandemic since 1968, another one is inevitable.” Ministers said it would could kill between two and 50 million people worldwide and that such an outbreak would leave up to 75,000 people dead in Britain and cause “massive” disruption.

Their report said: “We have been warned that an influenza pandemic is overdue and that when – rather than if – it comes the effects could be devastating, particularly if the strain of the virus should be of the H5N1 variety that has been seen in south-east Asia in recent years.

Oh heck…it’s over folks…… everybody:
