John Kerry’s Suicide Pact

Posted by redsatellite on March 12, 2009

John Kerry claims mankind is making a suicide pact by ignoring Global Warming. I’m hoping he will make the issue much more personal. Yah, I’m hoping if we continue to ignore this hoax, HE WILL COMMIT suicide.

Climate change delay is ‘suicide pact’

A leading US senator warned on Wednesday that deferring potentially costly actions to combat climate change because of the global economic slump amounted to “a mutual suicide pact.”

“Climate change is not governed by a recession, it’s governed by scientific facts about what’s happening to Earth. And you either accept the realities of the science or you don’t,” said Democratic Senator John Kerry.

Fortunately, climate change isn’t governed by John Kerry or his abject stupidity. (Heck, I’m near suicidal that this article calls him a ‘leading US senator’.)

And…I’ve got more good news! Yep…this just in…more and more Americans are thinking Al Gore and John Kerry are yanking our chain.

Increased Number Think Global Warming Is “Exaggerated”

Although a majority of Americans believe the seriousness of global warming is either correctly portrayed in the news or underestimated, a record-high 41% now say it is exaggerated.

This represents the highest level of public skepticism about mainstream reporting on global warming seen in more than a decade of Gallup polling on the subject.

Ya…more and more Americans are rejecting this cockamamie issue. Why? Well, for one…this past winter probably shut a few people up.

And just so as we’re all on the same man-made page: Al and John are talking about Global Warming caused by HUMAN beings. Ya…and they have a nifty little scientific term for that- Anthropogenic Global Warming– otherwise known as AGW.

At the same time, a record-high 16% say the effects will never occur. (Prior to now, Gallup polling found no more than 11% of Americans saying the effects of global warming would never happen.)

Count me in with that RECORD HIGH 16 percent group who entirely reject Global Warming. I mean c’mon….’anthropogenic’? Is that hilarious? Scientists can’t call it: Man-made Global Warming (MGW) or Pollution Global Warming (PGW). No…they have to justify all that ‘green’ research money by throwing out the word: anthropogenic.

Right about now…you’re saying….well Craig…if you’re sooooooooo damn smart- and we are experiencing global warming…who’s to blame? Well, kind readers, I’m glad you asked!

I’ve decided to tell you what the more BELIEVABLE reason is…and….I’m going to coin a new word in the process. (I’m always there for you, aren’t I?) Should we begin to truly experience global warming in the next few decades, chalk it up to….

HELIOPOGENIC GLOBAL WARMING (or as I like to say- HGW) …..yes that would be the sun’s effect on nature. Not bad, huh? Heliopogenic, hmmm….has a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ about it, don’t you think?

Remember, you heard it here first.

Prisoner #8

Posted by redsatellite on March 11, 2009

My cousin Scott will be headed off to Afghanistan sometime soon. And thanks to the sick twisted minds of liberals and President Obama, a former prisoner of GITMO may get the chance to shoot at him.

Uh no, I’m not kidding.

The Taliban’s new top operations officer in southern Afghanistan had been a prisoner at the Guantanamo Bay detention center, the latest example of a freed detainee who took a militant leadership role and a potential complication for the Obama administration’s efforts to close the prison. U.S. authorities handed over the detainee to the Afghan government, which in turn released him, according to Pentagon and CIA officials.

Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul, formerly Guantanamo prisoner No. 008, was among 13 Afghan prisoners released to the Afghan government in December 2007. Rasoul is now known as Mullah Abdullah Zakir, a nom de guerre that Pentagon and intelligence officials say is used by a Taliban leader who is in charge of operations against U.S. and Afghan forces in southern Afghanistan.

Pentagon and intelligence officials said Rasoul has emerged as a key militant figure in southern Afghanistan, where violence has been spiking in the last year. Thousands of U.S. troops are preparing to deploy there to fight resurgent Taliban forces.

Thanks to feckless leftwing democrats, my cousin may have the frightening prospect of confronting Taliban psychopath-in-chief: Abdullah Rasoul. Rasoul has been allowed to kill Americans AGAIN. Hopefully, Scott or someone in his company will finish off Rasoul once and for all.

Liberals are treacherous and pernicious and should be thrown in with the others who occupy Dante’s 9 circles of Hell.

Defending the Indefensible…But Wait- There’s More!

Posted by redsatellite on March 9, 2009

If you were with us in our last episode…women in Saudi Arabia are not allowed to drive. Well, this just in, they’re also not allowed to have a man in their house…unless he’s related. No matter how old he is…and no matter how old SHE IS.

A Saudi Arabian court has sentenced a 75-year-old Syrian woman to 40 lashes, four months imprisonment and deportation from the kingdom for having two unrelated men in her house, according to local media reports.

According to the Saudi daily newspaper Al-Watan, troubles for the woman, Khamisa Mohammed Sawadi, began last year when a member of the religious police entered her house in the city of Al-Chamli and found her with two unrelated men, “Fahd” and “Hadian.”

The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, feared by many Saudis, is made up of several thousand religious policemen charged with duties such as enforcing dress codes, prayer times and segregation of the sexes. Under Saudi law, women face many restrictions, including a strict dress code and a ban on driving. Women also need to have a man’s permission to travel.

40 lashes!…which if applied correctly, will likely KILL HER. No word yet, on whether Annette Bening or Nancy Pelosi have flown to Mecca to visit the 75 year old woman. Hmmmm, I wonder if Annette or Nancy would ask their husbands…for permission.

Somehow…I doubt it.

Defending the Indefensible

Posted by redsatellite on March 6, 2009

Liberals are quite a lovely bunch of coconuts. I mean really. Anyone noticed the VAST disconnect they have with their secular behavior, their secular beliefs, their secular lifestyle and the Muslim religion? Yet, they defend the religion and their followers all the while – excoriating Christians.

For this following article, I particularly want to hear from liberal women….you know the ones like Nancy Pelosi who go off to Syria wearing a headscarf…or an Annette Bening and Alfre Woodard who chum it up with Iranian women in Teheran in full headdress.

Yah…those stupid liberals.

I think it’s time you visit Saudi Arabia. Oh..and for fun….try RENTING A CAR from al-Hertz or ali-Budget. Uh…better yet…try renting a car and then driving. I’m sorry…what’s that you say?

…you can’t?

Police in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca Wednesday arrested a woman for violating the country’s ban on women driving, according to the Saudi English-language daily Arab News.

The woman, whose nationality and name were not released but who was described as being in her 20s, attempted to flee when she realized police had spotted her driving, Saudi authorities said.

The woman tried to escape when she saw a police car and in the process hit another car, which was slightly damaged,” Maj. Abdul Mushin Al-Mayman, a police spokesman, told Arab News. According to the spokesman, the woman was turned over to the Saudi Prosecution and Investigation Commission.

Wake up and smell the camel dung. You certainly don’t respect Christians- so why the DUPLICITOUS kowtowing?

 Hmmm?

Voting Never Accomplishes Anything

Posted by redsatellite on March 5, 2009

When it comes to gay marriage….that is EXACTLY the case. Every time Americans refute gay marriage (currently…that would be 100% of the time), advocates find a liberal appellate court to overturn it. And so it goes in California…again….ad infinitum.

Gay marriage advocates on Thursday will ask the California Supreme Court to overturn a second voter-approved same-sex marriage ban, in a cultural battle that has divided the United States.

Social conservatives and liberals both consider California a trend-setter that can shape the same-sex marriage agenda, even though an overwhelming majority of U.S. states have laws stopping gay couples from wedding.

Overwhelming majority? It would be UNANAMOUS if it weren’t for judges and state legislatures invoking their form of social engineering. Liberals have lost every single time when it comes to a a vote. (pssssssst….’every’ means NOT ONE.)

The same court last year overturned a voter-approved law banning gay marriage, opening the way to gay couples wedding in the most populous state.

Liberals only abide by the popular vote…when they’re successful. (see: Barack Obama)

Buying Into Liberal BS

Posted by redsatellite on March 3, 2009

The latest ‘dust up’ between RNC leader Michael Steele and conservative Rush Limbaugh is an a posteriori example of what happens when conservatives speak to the MSM and liberal pundits. Sure enough, every so often, they buy into the liberal b.s. in their need to be liked.

Why? I know it’s human nature to want that…to want to be liked. But, with liberals, you are not just shooting yourself in the foot….you’re shooting yourself in the head.

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele says he has reached out to Rush Limbaugh to tell him he meant no offense when he referred to the popular conservative radio host as an “entertainer” whose show can be “incendiary.”

“My intent was not to go after Rush – I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh,” Steele said in a telephone interview. “I was maybe a little bit inarticulate. … There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership.”

The dust-up comes at a time when top Democrats are trying to make Limbaugh the face of the Republican Party, in part by using ads funded by labor. Americans United for Change sent a fund-raising e-mail Monday that begins: “The Republican Party has turned into the Rush Limbaugh Party.”

Steele was being hammered on CNN by another black pundit, and Michael made the mistake of placating. Yep…placating. That’s what you do…when you want to deflect the tone of an argument or debate- in a lame attempt to soften the exchange. Unfortunately….the placating…isn’t placating…it’s CAPITULATING.

And for conservatives…..that is a cardinal sin. Yes. What you’ve done….whether you realize it or not is- you’ve bought into the bs. And that’s what Michael did. You knew it would happen eventually….you just knew. Michael Steele along with Bobby Jindal, are the new minority faces of the Republican Party.

And the liberal media is all over them, like Al Gore at a buffet. The leftwing loons and media moonbats will try to marginalize, they will attack– and they will vilify. So QUIT with trying to be liked. The only common ground they have with us is- they’re citizens of the United States. That’s it- nothing more! So a word of advice to Steele and Jindal:

Pull up the drawbridge…hide the women and children…man the fortress walls…and keep your sentries on the look out.

The War on Drugged LA Times

Posted by redsatellite on March 2, 2009

The blame America mentality on the left is….well it’s NEVERENDING. Everything the U.S. does is wrong….everything. We are to blame for the entire world’s ills. No, I’m not kidding.

And I’m sick and tired of it.

The war we gave Mexico

Early in the last century, near the end of his 34 bloody years in power, the aging Mexican strongman Porfirio Diaz mused that his country’s great misfortune was to be located “so far from God and so near the United States.”

Many fear that Mexico could be sliding into civil instability because of the cartels’ increasing willingness to use violence and bribery to protect their business. It’s an old story in other parts of Latin America, and for that reason, three of the region’s former heads of state — including onetime Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo – recently issued a report urging the U.S. to consider legalizing at least marijuana. Fat chance.

Mexico is a complex country with a resourceful and creative people. It also is — like other Latin American nations ravaged by the drug trade– burdened with a stunted civil society, chronic maldistribution of wealth, ingrained corruption and endemic political violence. These pathologies have made it painfully susceptible to the social and economic distortions created by America’s seemingly insatiable desire for drugs.

If Americans really are concerned about the horrific toll inflicted by Mexico’s narco-gangsters, we need to ask some tough questions about our own cultural and political delusions.

The LA Times writer, Mr. Tim Rutten, needs to ponder this: If a child grows up to be a drug trafficker, a felon, a life-long criminal and/or a VICIOUS EVIL MURDERER….how in the hell is that America’s fault?

If you’re looking for the moral highground, you leftwing dolt, why not start with the disintegration of the Mexican family, the breakdown of Mexican society, and the dysfunctional Mexican PARENTS who raised these murdering psychopaths?

So let me see if I understand Mr. Rutten’s brilliant dissertation. Okay, soooooooo…..someone in America wants to get high- and he’s willing to pay for it. And because he wants to get high….drug dealers and traffickers down in Juarez or Acapulco or Cancun decide to maim, murder, and behead civilians, government officials, and police – yep, makes perfect sense.

I’ve decided, the synapse wiring in liberals- must look like telephone lines in a third world country.

With such wit and syllogistic acuity, it’s a wonder he hasn’t won a Pulitzer.

Liberal Morality

Posted by redsatellite on February 26, 2009

Yes…I know it’s an oxymoron- but it’s worse than that. While conservatives debate good and evil, right and wrong…immorality and sin, liberals debate…um…well…liberals debate, okay…I’ll just come out with it….liberals debate…Toilet Paper.

Toilet Paper and Other Moral Choices

When Sheryl Crow said that people should use only one sheet of toilet paper, she was lampooned by everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Jon Stewart.

More recently, the issue of toilet paper has become less of a joke (except when celebrities express an opinion) and more of a cause: since the fluffy kind cannot be made from recycled paper, conservationists argue, consumers can do their part to protect the environment by buying the rougher stuff. There are skeptics who say the benefits of such a switch are overstated.

SAY WHAT? Granted, it’s an opinion piece from the NY Times….but what in the name of 2 ply tissue has gotten into liberals? Silly me…I’m focused on the 10 commandments- while the moral dilemma for liberals is choosing Charmin over Scott.

Liberals, truly are, not of this world.

Giving Liberals Guilt- Is No Small Feat

Posted by redsatellite on February 23, 2009

You REALLY have to be that good, to give liberals’ guilt. As I’ve said before, I mean…the old-fashion Judeo-Christian- fire and brimstone….you’re going to Hell– type guilt. It’s no small feat, and very few have successfully pulled it off. To tap into a liberal’s guilt, you’ve managed- against all odds– to find that mere SCINTILLA of ‘morality’ still resident in their body. And Al Gore and his Global Warming mob has done it.

What is more bizarre….is the degree to which this has accelerated. Case in point.

Carbon offset pricing may confuse tourists

Air travelers are paying vastly differing prices to offset their contribution to climate change, in some cases three times market levels, despite efforts to increase transparency in an unregulated market.

Under a regulated carbon market, countries and companies buy offsets to help them meet binding international climate targets.

Prices have halved in recent weeks as recession reduces industrial output and expected emissions.

But prices which consumers pay in an unofficial market have lagged behind those falls.
Carbon offsetting is offered to tourists and business travelers by many airlines and offset developers so as to allow people to justify flying by funding a carbon reduction project elsewhere.

I mean c’mon….how ridiculous has the Gore-bal Warming hoax become- when legions of idolators admit- they may be ‘CONFUSED’ by their own self-imposed Sin Tax.

Yah….that’s right- much like the sin of smoking cigarettes or drinking booze, more air miles adds to global warming…and by paying for carbon offsets- this is their ‘way out’ to help get over the SIN of flying.

Uh…no…I’m not kidding.

Carbon offsets traded on regulated exchanges at 9 euros on Friday, while unregulated prices can be much lower.

Yes…you read that right….this means, there are people with FULL TIME JOBS….making a career of this. Un-effing-believable.

The money helps fund projects which reduce emissions elsewhere, such as planting trees or trapping methane emissions from waste dumps in developing countries.

Fly to Paris- buy a baby tree. Fly to Rome- harness cow flatulence. Folks…this is why I hyperlink, I can’t possibly make it all up.

Liberals and Ethics

Posted by redsatellite on February 19, 2009

Are mutually exclusive. Always have been….and what’s worse, now that their Bush-bashing days are over, the sniping vacuous liberals and their moral relativism and equivocation…has FINALLY come under the national spotlight– joining the conspicuous glare with Obama. Even the MSM can’t cover their hideous assault on moral absolutes.

The Obama administration and the new Congress are quickly handing over to Republicans the same “culture of corruption” issue that Democrats used so effectively against the GOP before coming to power.

Freshman Sen. Roland Burris, D-Ill., is only the latest embarrassment.

The political mess for the Democratic Party, however, isn’t Burris’ conduct alone; it’s the pattern that has developed so quickly over the past few months.

-The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., is the subject of a House ethics investigation. It’s partly focused on his fundraising practices for a college center in his name, his ownership financing of a resort property in the Dominican Republic and his financial disclosure reports.

-Federal agents raided two Pennsylvania defense contractors that were provided millions of dollars in federal funding by Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., chairman of the House Appropriations defense subcommittee.

Blagojevich was arrested Dec. 9 on federal charges, including allegations he schemed to sell the Senate seat to the highest bidder.

Tom Daschle, the former Senate majority leader from South Dakota, abandoned his bid to become health and human services secretary and the administration’s point man on reforming health care; and Nancy Killefer stepped down from a newly created position charged with eliminating inefficient government programs.

-Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was confirmed after revealing he had tax troubles.

-Obama’s initial choice for commerce secretary, Bill Richardson, stepped aside due to a grand jury investigation into a state contract awarded to his political donors.

I mean c’mon….is this an absolute HOOT? Heck, if ‘the list’ gets any longer- Guinness World Records will be calling them. I haven’t seen this many names in one place…

…since I picked up a Los Angeles PHONEBOOK!
