China Is Warming Al Gore

Posted by Mark on December 30, 2006

All of you leftwing loons who have bought into the myth known as ‘global warming’- go tell it to the Chinese.

A great coal rush is under way across China on a scale not seen anywhere since the 19th century.

Its consequences have been detected half a world away in toxic clouds so big that they can seen from space, drifting across the Pacific to California laden with microscopic particles of chemicals that cause cancer and diseases of the heart and lung.

Nonetheless, the Chinese plan to build no fewer than 500 new coal-fired power stations, adding to some 2,000, most of them unmodernised, that spew smoke, carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide into the atmosphere.

Okay? So get off the President’s back! Quit blaming America and George Bush- you bunch of water vapor producing jet-setting HYPOCRITES.

Foreign countries are doing their utmost to persuade the Chinese of the merits of change.

Oh really?

Well then- where in the name of Kung Pao Chicken…..is Al Gore? Why don’t we see him in Beijing- kissing Panda bears and shaking hands? Uh….I’ll tell you why we don’t see him in China. Because the Chinese will meet with him, politely bow, and tell him to GO POUND RICE.

The Sunni The Better

Posted by Mark on December 28, 2006

Next stop- HELL.

Great news…NBC News is reporting that Saddam Hussein will be swinging from a noose by Sunday. (My kind of swift justice.)

Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, sentenced to death for his role in 148 killings in 1982, will have his sentence carried out by Sunday, NBC News reported Thursday. According to a U.S. military officer who spoke on condition of anonymity, Saddam will be hanged before the start of the Eid religious holiday, which begins at sundown Saturday.

The hanging could take place as early as Friday, NBC’s Richard Engel reported.

Heck…even better! (Is this a great new country or what?)

The U.S. military received a formal request from the Iraqi government to transfer Saddam to Iraqi authorities, NBC reported on Thursday, which is one of the final steps required before his execution.

Uh…the real final step…takes place at…the gallows.

UPDATE: At approximately 10 PM EST…Saddam Hussein was indeed executed.

Queer Musicology

Posted by Mark on December 27, 2006

No…I promise…I didn’t make it up. This is the actual name of a class at one of our finer schools of higher learning here in America- and yes…it represents the type of nonsense that passes for education. But wait!….there’s more:

If your idea of fighting terrorism involves dropping bombs on al Qaeda hide-outs, chances are you’re probably not a Swarthmore College student. Some students at Swarthmore (annual tuition, $33,232) spent the fall semester learning how to deal with terrorism by studying “the dynamics of cultural marginalization” and examining “the rich history of nonviolent counterterrorist tactics.”

Visiting professor George Lakey’s “Nonviolent Responses to Terrorism” class earned Swarthmore a spot in the “Dirty Dozen,” a listing of the “most bizarre” college classes in the nation as compiled by the Young America’s Foundation (YAF).

Among YAF’s picks for 2006 are courses in Marxism, feminism and some subjects that can’t be adequately described in a family newspaper.

Yah…nothing says I love you like HUGGING A TERRORIST!

Occidental College (annual tuition, $32,800) topped this year’s list, securing two spots in the “Dirty Dozen.” Occidental’s first-place entry, which is scheduled for the spring semester, is taught by associate professor Jeffrey Tobin in the department of Women’s Studies/Gender Studies and involves such esoteric concepts as “phallologocentrism.”

Phallo-huh?

I like to think I have a rather extensive vocabulary. But I can assure you…that word isn’t in it. Okay…so I just had to find out what this ridiculous word meant. Officially, there is no word in the dictionary. Unofficially….here it is:

“Language ordered around an absolute Word (logos) which is “masculine” phallic, systematically excludes, disqualifies, denigrates, diminishes, silences the “feminine”.

SAY WHAT? Yes…this is what our kids are being taught. Good God….the disconnect liberals have with reality. The proof is everywhere:

“Queer Musicology,” University of California-Los Angeles: Associate professor Mitchell Morris instructs students how “sexual difference and complex gender identities in music and among musicians have incited productive consternation” – examining such composers as Franz Schubert and Cole Porter.

Remember…….a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Uh…especially, if you waste it on…. WASTE!

30 Days….Tick…Tick…Tick

Posted by Mark on December 26, 2006

The clock is ticking. Saddam Hussein’s time on earth is RUNNING OUT. Uh…unless of course…Iraq’s appeal process turns into an American process.

The Iraqi High Tribunal’s appellate chamber on Tuesday upheld Saddam Hussein’s death sentence in the Dujail massacre case, chamber spokesman Judge Raed Juhi told CNN.

In November, Hussein was sentenced to death by hanging for his role in the 1982 killings of 148 people in Dujail, a mostly Shiite town north of Baghdad.

According to Iraqi law, a death sentence upheld by the appellate chamber must be carried out within 30 days.

Not a bad Christmas present to the world…huh? Let’s pray it goes through without…a hitch or an interruption! But you gotta’ love the reaction from Hussein’s defense attorneys:

Hussein’s chief defense attorney, Khalil al-Dulaimi, said he had heard about the decision, but said it came from “an illegitimate and unconstitutional court.” “We are not surprised by this crazy ruling,” al-Dulaimi said.

CRAZY ruling?

BAWAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA! Sure Dulaimi….most mass murderers get off with 3 ‘Hail Marys’, 2 ‘Our Fathers’ and a couple of ‘Glory Bes’!

A Christmas Story

Posted by Mark on December 24, 2006

Okay, I admit it. I LOVE A Christmas Story. It’s as much a Yuletide tradition for my family as White Christmas and the Christmas Pageant at church on Christmas Eve. There are few movies that provoke more laughter (and groans from the Mrs.) than this one.

If you’d like to see a, ahem, condensed version of the movie, go here.

And, from Matt, Craig and myself, Merry Christmas.

Why The U.S. and Israel Will Never Win a War Again

Posted by Mark on December 23, 2006

Both are INFECTED by the liberal media and the social elite loons who set the dialogue AND the agenda.

Now that the U.S. has all but folded up its tent in Iraq- thank you Americans who voted in the Dhimmi-crats…thank you Iraq Study Group– today comes word, that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has decided to ‘unfreeze’ $100 million and hand it back to the Palestinians. Wonderful….sheer genius. Olmert has made a MESS of the war with Hezbollah…and now this.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert agreed Saturday to release $100 million in frozen funds to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and ease West Bank travel restrictions. The goodwill gestures revived hopes for a resumption of peace talks after years of hostility and distrust.

Olmert made the promises in a two-hour meeting with Abbas at the Israeli leader’s official residence, the first Israeli-Palestinian summit in 22 months. The meeting comes at a time when both men are facing serious political problems at home and stand to gain domestic support with a peace breakthrough.

Revived hopes? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Up until this pathetic capricious moment….the withholding of money from the Palestinians WAS WORKING! Hamas has been limping along-barely able to pay its own way. At least you had a tiny bit of leverage against these maniacs. But now you give back the money? And you think somehow that will curry favor with those Palestinians who side with Mahmoud Abbas?

Smart move you twit.

The Palestinians, like all good sociopaths, might want to kill each other…but make no mistake- they will ABSOLUTELY put aside their differences if it means they might get the chance to kill more Jews!

Oh by the way Olmert…did Hezbollah ever give you back your soldiers who were kidnapped? You listened to the liberal press and the United Nations and proceeded to fight Hezbollah like a bunch of p******.

So let me guess what will happen next. Hamas will tell Abbas to go pound sand but thank him for the 100 million. Abbas will throw up his hands and say…”Well Olmert- I tried.” And the Palestinians will continue to kill Jews. And Hezbollah will continue to kill Jews.

And the Muslim world will continue to blow up Jews and nothing will change. And the U.S will come home. And psychopathic Muslims will continue to blow up Americans. And the Democrats-like John Kerry and Christopher Dodd- will continue to sit down with monster-miscreants like Bashar Assad and NOTHING WILL CHANGE.

Nothing.

What we have in the United States- and now Israel- is a cadre of obsequious liberals who have no soul and have no honor. Two days before Christmas….and I’m filled with overwhelming contempt at the erosion of our nation’s will- weakened by a powerful bunch of KOWTOWING liberal moonbats- who belong in Hell.

Who Can Win….and Who Can’t

Posted by Mark on December 22, 2006

Okay…so there’s never a perfect match with my conservative libertarian views and who’s running for President, but I thought I would at least review the latest list of candidates. This list of course, doesn’t have a demo-bat on it. Nor will it EVER.

Candidates with Exploratory Committees:
1. Sam Brownback
2. Jim Gilmore
3. Rudy Giuliani
4. Duncan Hunter
5. John McCain
6. Tommy Thompson

Likely Candidates:
1. Newt Gingrich
2. Mitt Romney
3. Mike Huckabee
4. George Pataki
5. Frank Keating
6. Chuck Hagel
7. Tom Tancredo

Let’s start with the ‘Likely Candidates’ first. I would love to see Newt Gingrich win or a Tom Tancredo win the nomination- then win the election. But the man who has the best chance of emerging is: Mitt Romney. Newt is a little soft on immigration but otherwise has the total package. Tom Tancredo is THE MAN on immigration but has alienated (good word huh?) a large majority of Republicans who have caved in to the social moonbats that support amnesty. Mitt has the charm, the looks, and the skills….but he’s a Morman. A Morman has no chance- not with a zillion Catholics voting.

Now, on to the ‘Candidates with Exploratory Committees’. I would love to see a Duncan Hunter or a Sam Brownback win. Unfortunately, Brownback is considered too conservative and Hunter is too unknown. I can’t stand John McCain….so I’m HOPING he won’t be nominated. Of the group, Rudy Giuliani is likely to win the nomination. Rudy ‘gets it’ on national security….but DOESN’T get it- with his pro-choice and gun control stance.

After all is said and done, Giuliani has the best chance of winning in 2008. I’m not elated…but I’m not overly irritated either.

Bribery, Corruption, Criminal Activity? Oh…You Must Be Referring to the UN

Posted by Mark on December 21, 2006

I’m so tired of writing about the malignant mendacious UN…I may have to call a 1 year time-out. But before I do that….I’ll throw yet ANOTHER post at you:

A friend of the former procurement official at the United Nations pleaded guilty Thursday in a bribery case, saying he let the official rent and later buy an apartment for his family at reduced prices so he could win lucrative U.N. contracts.

Nishan Kohli, 30, of Miami, Fla., entered his plea before U.S. District Judge Denise Cote in Manhattan in a cooperation deal that boosted the government’s case against Sanjaya Bahel, the U.N. official who is free on $900,000 bail.

Yep…I won’t write about the United Nations for a year. Uh, maybe I should make it my New Year’s resolution?

Otherwise…I’ll be SO DARN tempted to rant about them.

Whether You Like It or Not- Heads Will Roll

Posted by Mark on December 21, 2006

As the Western world tiptoes around Islam….it’s always nice to see, an artist or two continue plodding along uninterrupted.

Just before the curtain dropped on an otherwise uneventful opera, the grisly scene that everyone came to see finally transpired. The King of Crete pulled the severed head of the prophet Muhammad out of a sack and triumphantly placed it on a wooden chair, next to three decapitated deities.

A few loud shouts of “Jawohl!” or “That’s right!” erupted from the audience, along with some scattered jeering, as the long-delayed production of Mozart’s “Idomeneo” came to a conclusion. Dozens of security men wearing earpieces scanned the crowd for trouble. But much to the relief of the anxious German authorities, no physical violence or terrorist threats were reported. Nor did any organized protests occur outside.

Uh…okay…so there were more security guards in attendance than there were patrons. But…I give the play 2 thumbs up.

Yet the controversy over the once-obscure remake of “Idomeneo” showed few signs of subsiding. German politicians, religious leaders and others continued to bicker about the broader meaning of the production, the latest symbol in a debate over whether European society and millions of Muslim newcomers to the continent are socially compatible.

THERE YOU GO!

That last sentence said it all. Forget the damn play…the acting…the drama…and the critical reviews- let’s get to the real issue.
