Defending the Indefensible…But Wait- There’s More!

Posted by redsatellite on March 9, 2009

If you were with us in our last episode…women in Saudi Arabia are not allowed to drive. Well, this just in, they’re also not allowed to have a man in their house…unless he’s related. No matter how old he is…and no matter how old SHE IS.

A Saudi Arabian court has sentenced a 75-year-old Syrian woman to 40 lashes, four months imprisonment and deportation from the kingdom for having two unrelated men in her house, according to local media reports.

According to the Saudi daily newspaper Al-Watan, troubles for the woman, Khamisa Mohammed Sawadi, began last year when a member of the religious police entered her house in the city of Al-Chamli and found her with two unrelated men, “Fahd” and “Hadian.”

The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, feared by many Saudis, is made up of several thousand religious policemen charged with duties such as enforcing dress codes, prayer times and segregation of the sexes. Under Saudi law, women face many restrictions, including a strict dress code and a ban on driving. Women also need to have a man’s permission to travel.

40 lashes!…which if applied correctly, will likely KILL HER. No word yet, on whether Annette Bening or Nancy Pelosi have flown to Mecca to visit the 75 year old woman. Hmmmm, I wonder if Annette or Nancy would ask their husbands…for permission.

Somehow…I doubt it.

Defending the Indefensible

Posted by redsatellite on March 6, 2009

Liberals are quite a lovely bunch of coconuts. I mean really. Anyone noticed the VAST disconnect they have with their secular behavior, their secular beliefs, their secular lifestyle and the Muslim religion? Yet, they defend the religion and their followers all the while – excoriating Christians.

For this following article, I particularly want to hear from liberal women….you know the ones like Nancy Pelosi who go off to Syria wearing a headscarf…or an Annette Bening and Alfre Woodard who chum it up with Iranian women in Teheran in full headdress.

Yah…those stupid liberals.

I think it’s time you visit Saudi Arabia. Oh..and for fun….try RENTING A CAR from al-Hertz or ali-Budget. Uh…better yet…try renting a car and then driving. I’m sorry…what’s that you say?

…you can’t?

Police in the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca Wednesday arrested a woman for violating the country’s ban on women driving, according to the Saudi English-language daily Arab News.

The woman, whose nationality and name were not released but who was described as being in her 20s, attempted to flee when she realized police had spotted her driving, Saudi authorities said.

The woman tried to escape when she saw a police car and in the process hit another car, which was slightly damaged,” Maj. Abdul Mushin Al-Mayman, a police spokesman, told Arab News. According to the spokesman, the woman was turned over to the Saudi Prosecution and Investigation Commission.

Wake up and smell the camel dung. You certainly don’t respect Christians- so why the DUPLICITOUS kowtowing?

 Hmmm?

Voting Never Accomplishes Anything

Posted by redsatellite on March 5, 2009

When it comes to gay marriage….that is EXACTLY the case. Every time Americans refute gay marriage (currently…that would be 100% of the time), advocates find a liberal appellate court to overturn it. And so it goes in California…again….ad infinitum.

Gay marriage advocates on Thursday will ask the California Supreme Court to overturn a second voter-approved same-sex marriage ban, in a cultural battle that has divided the United States.

Social conservatives and liberals both consider California a trend-setter that can shape the same-sex marriage agenda, even though an overwhelming majority of U.S. states have laws stopping gay couples from wedding.

Overwhelming majority? It would be UNANAMOUS if it weren’t for judges and state legislatures invoking their form of social engineering. Liberals have lost every single time when it comes to a a vote. (pssssssst….’every’ means NOT ONE.)

The same court last year overturned a voter-approved law banning gay marriage, opening the way to gay couples wedding in the most populous state.

Liberals only abide by the popular vote…when they’re successful. (see: Barack Obama)

A Purpose Driven Inauguration

Posted by redsatellite on December 18, 2008

You kind of knew this was going to happen. What began with lofty promises of Hope and Change…of Love and Peace and Sunshine and Moonbeams…are ever so slowly…devolving. Yep. The liberal elite and the hard left were nothing short of EXUBERANT when Barack Obama won. Why…you’ve never heard such praise and celebration..such joy and adulation.

You would’ve thought we cured cancer.

So when Barack won, it was payback time. Payback for their undying passion and support. And they instantly expected – ney DEMANDED– that Obama start surrounding himself with loon after progressive loon. A White House full of nothing but liberal doves and social progressives.

But then?

Then Barack picked Hillary. Then he kept Robert Gates. And now? Now he’s picked conservative pastor and best selling author Rick Warren to lead the invocation at his own inauguration. And…
the liberals? Liberals do what they do best, they come UNHINGED.

Prominent liberal groups and gay rights proponents criticized President-elect Barack Obama Wednesday for choosing evangelical pastor Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at the presidential inauguration next month.

Warren, one of the most influential religious leaders in the nation, has championed issues such as a reduction of global poverty, human rights abuses and the AIDS epidemic.

But the founder of the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, has also adhered to socially conservative stances- including his opposition to gay marriage and abortion rights that puts him at odds with many in the Democratic Party, especially the party’s most liberal wing.

Ruh roh. Is the honeymoon over?

People for the American Way President Kathryn Kolbert told CNN she is “deeply disappointed” with the choice of Warren and said the powerful platform at the inauguration should instead have been given to someone who has “consistent mainstream American values.”

“There is no substantive difference between
Rick Warren and James Dobson,” Kolbert said. “The only difference is tone. His tone is moderate, but his ideas are radical.”

Hmmm…we seem to have a SERIOUS disconnect. FYI Ms. Kolbert- ‘Mainstream American values’ don’t include gay marriage and gay issues. Never have. Check out the voting results of every single state that has put gay marriage on an election ballot.

So who’s the ‘radical’ here Kimosabe?

OIC You Don’t See

Posted by redsatellite on December 4, 2008

Oh brother….you better sit down for this one. Yah. Apparently, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has taken umbrage with the media using the word Islam when news of YET ANOTHER KILLING RAMPAGE by Muslim psychopaths occurs.

Stop Using the Word ‘Islam’ in Reports on Terrorism, Islamic Bloc Says

If the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) had its way, media reporting on terrorist activity would exclude “any reference to Islam” – whatever the affiliation, identity or motivation of the perpetrators.

Without citing any specific attack, the OIC’s Jeddah-based general secretariat said in a statement it had “noticed a tendency of a section of the media, to interpose the word ‘Islam’ in reporting these incidences.”

Oh shut up already.

Apparently, you’ve been asleep for the last 30 years. For the 3,567th time, not all followers of Islam are terrorists. But yes…ALL TERRORISTS, other than the rare exception of a Timothy McVeigh, are followers of Islam.

Robert Spencer, an expert on Islam and director of the Jihad Watch Web site, called the OIC statement “the height of hypocrisy.”

“It was not the media that interposed the word ‘Islam’ in reporting about the Mumbai attacks; rather, it was the Islamic group the Deccan Mujahideen that did so,” he said, referring to a claim of responsibility sent to Indian media early on during the 60-hour assault.

Exactly. If you don’t want to be identified as followers of Islam, then STOP telling everyone you are!

‘Liberal Jews’ Should Be An Oxymoron

Posted by redsatellite on November 11, 2008

All my life, I’ve had close associations with Jews. Intimate ones, casual ones….friends, colleagues, lovers and acquaintances. I grew up attending school with them, I’ve worked with them…and I’ve socialized with them. And the one thing that continues to mystify me…something beyond my comprehension: why aren’t Jews OVERWHELMINGLY conservative?

They aren’t. In fact, they’re just the opposite.

Dennis Prager is probably one of the best known conservative Jews in America. He’s written extensively on this topic. He’s come up with 6 good reasons why– I’ve tweaked it a bit and added one more:

1. Jews are incredibly grateful to (Democrat) Harry Truman for recognizing the State of Israel within 15 minutes of the formal declaration.

2. Jews are raised with a concept called Tzedakah, which basically translates into charity, although the actual meaning is ‘righteousness’ or ‘justice’. This means that they help the unfortunate, not only because it is the right thing to do, but because it is a mitzvah, a commandment. Judaism is indeed preoccupied with social justice (as well as with holiness and personal morality), and many Jews believe that the only way to achieve a just society is through leftist policies.

3. Most Jews are frightened by anything that connotes right wing — such as the words “right-wing” and “conservative.” Especially since the Holocaust, they think that threats to their security emanate from the Right only. (It is pointless to argue that Nazism stood for National Socialism and therefore was really a leftist ideology. Whether that is theoretically accurate doesn’t matter; nearly everyone regards the Nazis as far Right, and, therefore, Jews fear the Right.) The fact that the Jews’ best friends today are conservatives and the fact that the Left is the home of most of the Jews’ enemies outside of the Muslim world have made little impact on Jews’ psyches.

4. Liberal Jews fear most religions. They identify religion — especially fundamentalist religion and especially Christianity — with anti-Semitism. Jews are taught from birth about the horrors of the Holocaust, and of nearly 2,000 years of European, meaning Christian, anti-Semitism. They therefore tend to fear Christianity and believe that secularism guarantees their physical security.

5. Despite their secularism, Jews may be the most religious ethnic group in the world. The problem is that their religion is rarely Judaism; rather it is every “ism” of the Left. These include liberalism, socialism, feminism, Marxism and environmentalism. Jews involved in these movements believe in them with the same ideological fervor and same suspension of critical reason with which many religious people believe in their religion. It is therefore usually as hard to shake a liberal Jew’s belief in the Left and in the Democratic Party as it is to shake an evangelical Christian’s belief in Christianity. The big difference, however, is that the Christian believer acknowledges his Christianity is a belief, whereas the believer in liberalism views his belief as entirely the product of rational inquiry.

6. Liberal Jews fear nationalism. The birth of nationalism in Europe planted the secular seeds of the Holocaust (religious seeds had been planted by some early and medieval Church teachings and reinforced by Martin Luther). European nationalists welcomed all national identities except the Jews’. That is a major reason so many Jews identify primarily as “world citizens”; they have contempt for nationalism and believe that strong national identities, even in America, will exclude them. Just as liberal Jews fear a resurgent Christianity despite the fact that contemporary Christians are the Jews’ best friends, leftist Jews fear American nationalism despite the fact that Americans who believe in American exceptionalism are far more pro-Jewish and pro-Israel than leftist Americans. But most leftist Jews so abhor nationalism, they don’t even like the Jews’ nationalism (Zionism).

7. Denial. It is very, very painful to realize that people that you thought were your friends, for years, actually do not like you. That is the experience of a liberal Jew who loves Israel. You always supported liberal causes – African American causes, every social program that someone in Washington could imagine, the whole nine yards – and then you hear Reverend Wright or Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton or Moveon.org or the folks at the Daily Kos spew hatred towards your people.

So, you’re probably wondering why…I even brought this up…and exactly- what does this have to do with the price of tea in China. What spurred my post was an article…and opinion written by Richard Cohen of the Washington Post.

Obama’s Cabinet: Start With Al Gore

If there is a single appointment Barack Obama could make to signal how dramatically things will change in Washington, it would be to name Albert Gore Jr. – former House member, former senator, former vice president, former presidential nominee and current Custodian of the Planet – as secretary of state. For all the other aspirants to the job, sorry- this is an inconvenient truth.

Can you imagine a bolder statement about a new direction when it comes to global warming and the general care of our abused planet?

This nonsense so aggravated me, that I decided to finally UNLOAD on liberal Jews. Richard Cohen represents a huge group of liberal elite Jews. Jews are likely THE SINGLE MOST EDUCATED group of people in the world….and yet their lack of critical thinking astounds me.

The implication that Cohen makes here…of course….is that as ‘Custodian of the Planet’, Al Gore will help save us from ourselves. And what better way to do so- then to be Secretary of State. Only problem is….Secretaries of State are not concerned with the environment.

This is what the Secretary of State does:

Storage and use of the Great Seal of the United States, performance of protocol functions for the White House, drafting of certain proclamations, formally accepting notice of the president’s resignation, and replies to inquiries. In addition, the Secretary performs such duties as the President is required, in accordance with the United States Constitution, relating to correspondence, commission, or instructions to U.S. or consuls abroad, and to conduct negotiations with foreign representatives.

Hmmm…that’s funny, I don’t see ONE SCINTILLA about the environment in the job description. And I certainly don’t see anything about toxic waste disposal or ‘cap and trades’ or polar ice caps.

In fact, Cohen’s disconnect, is even more profound. A Secretary of State is constantly flying across the globe to meet with leaders of foreign countries. Exactly how is ALL THAT WATER VAPOR from his airplane trips helping the environment? Uh….earth to Cohen…come in Cohen…..it’s making it worse!

If you’re so worried about the United States trashing the environment, why not appoint Gore- head of the Environmental PROTECTION Agency? Wouldn’t that make a tad more sense? Or how about the Department of Energy? (Al could START with his own electric bill!)

Is it possible Richard Cohen is not a liberal or a Jew? Let’s put it this way- I’m so sure….I’d bet my electric bill AND my trash bill on it.

Iraq, Turkey, India…It Doesn’t Matter

Posted by redsatellite on July 28, 2008

Leftwing democrats and the liberal Media will tell you that the United States brought terrorism to Iraq. That it was ALL OUR FAULT. By engaging Muslim psychopaths, we brought it on ourselves. Yeah…well…they always seem to ignore a little bit of this…

The death toll from two weekend explosions in Turkey rose to 17 Monday after a wounded person died, the state news agency said. The blasts Sunday injured at least 154 others, the Anadolu news agency reported. Among the dead was a three-year-old child, it said.

and MOST of that.

Over the past several years, terrorist attacks in India have become an everyday presence in everyday places. The targets seem to have nothing in common except that they are ordinary and brazenly easy to strike.

And, in the most recent attack, 17 back-to-back explosions struck shoppers and strollers on Saturday evening in Ahmedabad in western India, and then two blasts hit the very hospitals where the wounded and their relatives rushed for help, killing 49 people and wounding more than 200.

Much of the problem with liberals and the Main Stream Media…of course…is their reluctance to identify and EXCORIATE the Islamic murderers. Typically, they will headline how many died…how many victims’ lives were ruined. But blame? Oh….well heck..they can’t do that! That would inflame the Muslims.

Boo hoo. Wah.

In the news report from Turkey, CNN chose to tell us who the killers might be in Paragraph 12. In the post from India, the NY Times barely even mention who the KNOWN killers are…whispering to us in paragraph 11! Not in the HEADLINE or the leading paragraph…

…paragraph ELEVEN.

In the past, we’ve seen terrorism in the UK, Spain, Canada, Philippines and a host of Non-Muslim countries. The brutal violence senseless- their reasons obscure and ridiculous. And yet liberals will blame everyone BUT THEM.

So….let’s face it…blaming the U.S. is a canard. And a liberal non-sequitur.

The Light Bulb Flickers…..ON

Posted by redsatellite on July 17, 2008

Europeans may be waking up to the mayhem born from radical Islam. FINALLY.

Europeans are increasingly lashing out at the construction of mosques in their cities as terrorism fears and continued immigration feed anti-Muslim sentiment across the continent.

The latest dispute is in Switzerland, which is planning a nationwide referendum to ban minarets on mosques. This month, Italy’s interior minister vowed to close a controversial mosque in Milan.

Some analysts call the mosque conflicts the manifestation of a growing fear that Muslims aren’t assimilating, don’t accept Western values and pose a threat to security. “It’s a visible symbol of anti-Muslim feelings in Europe,” says Danièle Joly, director of the Center for Research in Ethnic Relations at the University of Warwick in England. “It’s part of an Islamophobia. Europeans feel threatened.”

Liberal dolts like Ms Joly love to throw the word ‘Islamophobia’ into the discussion to automatically couch and frame their argument. As if to say: the peasant hordes are overreacting…how stupid and oafish!

Well guess what you pandering moral relativists– it’s a fear based on facts. And people are DAMN tired of the terrorism- you boorish sycophants.

Some moderate Muslims say those against building more mosques sometimes have legitimate concerns.

My God….someone give THEM a platform. That’s a refreshing voice in the wilderness!

Does Anyone Read Our Blog in Iran?

Posted by redsatellite on July 8, 2008

NAH. Probably not.

A new law has been passed by the Iranian parliament extending use of the death penalty to online crimes. Previously, only people charged with insulting Islam or drug trafficking had been sentenced to death.

In accordance with the new law, bloggers and website editors can be sentenced to death for crimes such as promoting corruption, prostitution and apostasy, the International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX) reported.

I’ve been insulting Imams and muftis for over 3 years. And I’ve certainly promoted apostasy. I guess my reader base in Iran is pretty thin…huh.

Thank God, You’re Not MY Parents

Posted by redsatellite on June 19, 2008

A news report like this….makes me crazy. I feel so bad for the children, I want to immediately put the parents UNDER the jail.

Authorities say a teenager from a faith-healing family died from an illness that could have been easily treated, just a few months after a toddler cousin of his died in a case that has led to criminal charges.

Tuesday’s death of 16-year-old Neil Beagley, however, may not be a crime because Oregon law allows minors 14 and older to decide for themselves whether to accept medical treatment.

Remind me not to move to Oregon. I can remember when I was 16, I listened to my parents and I respected my parents and I certainly obeyed them and their decisions. If these 2 were my parents, I’d be DEAD.

In March, the boy’s 15-month-old cousin Ava Worthington died at home from bronchial pneumonia and a blood infection.

A simple visit to the doctor or a hospital, and the 2 kids would still be alive. This story is so sad, it’s absolutely…..maddening.
