Your Buddy Says…Congrats!

Posted by redsatellite on November 7, 2008

Thanks Mahmoud!…Thanks bro!

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulated U.S. President-elect Barack Obama — the first time an Iranian leader has offered such wishes to a U.S. president-elect since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Ahmadinejad said Tehran “welcomes basic and fair changes in U.S. policies and conducts,” according to the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency on Thursday.

“The Americans who have spiritual tendencies expect the government to spend all its power in line with serving the people, rectify the critical situation facing the U.S., restore lost reputation as well as their hope and spirit, fully respect human rights and strengthen family foundations.

What a load of happy horse****. Executed any homosexuals lately Mahmoud? Had any of your Shia brothers blow up a few Baghdad cafes lately? Any of your HAMAS cousins lob rockets into Israel recently?

Of course…Obama did say he would sit down with you any time any where- and with no pre-conditions. Hmmmm…no wonder…you’re all spry and chipper about the election.

Meanwhile….Back in Court

Posted by redsatellite on November 7, 2008

Voters in 3 states rejected same-sex marriages on Tuesday. And what do gay activists do when that happens? (And it happens every election.) They do..what they do best…they head back to court…to get ANOTHER ruling in their favor.

Three groups have petitioned the California Supreme Court challenging the passage of Proposition 8, contending that the ballot initiative banning gay and lesbian marriages was “improperly used.”

Californians passed the measure 52.5 percent to 47.5 percent in Tuesday’s general election. The proposition counters a state Supreme Court ruling in May that said the state constitution guarantees gay and lesbian couples the right to marry.

The three groups are asking for an immediate stay or an injunction to prevent the initiative from taking effect.

They said “such radical changes” as outlawing gay marriage cannot be made by ballot initiative but must, “at a minimum, go through the state legislature first.”

Improper? RADICAL? Say what?

Voters in Arizona and Florida also banned same-sex marriages in ballot initiatives Tuesday.

Are you kidding me? The majority of Americans have rejected gay marriage in every state across the nation that’s put it on the ballot. In election after election. And their the ‘radical’ ones?

Yesterday, in California, it was the VAST majority of blacks who rejected gay marriage- yes that’s right…Democrats-for-life who voted in Barack Obama. So quit blaming the Roman Catholic church or Christians or Mormons or…pick a denomination..for every one of your setbacks- you sore losers.

Put down the self-delusional kool-aid and step away from the lawyers.
