Symbolizing Middle America

Posted by redsatellite on October 16, 2008

Joe the Plumber, according to CNN, represents Middle America– yes…THEIR words.

McCain brought the story up during the debate, which led to several mentions by both candidates of “Joe the Plumber,” who quickly came to symbolize Middle America.

So let’s go down that path shall we?

And as I mentioned 3 days ago, that’s where a fundamental difference lies between liberals and conservatives. A basic disconnect so profoundly simple, it takes my breath away…that Obama, or any liberal for that matter, has a better idea of how to use and spend MY money. Not only their money…but my money…so that they can ‘spread the wealth’ around. Yes…liberals know better than me, how to spend- my money. They will tax me more, so that they can take that money and share it with others less fortunate or less successful.

Okay liberals….I’m going to say this as succinctly as I can: Where in the name of Karl Marx do you think you get the RIGHT to use and spend my money? How in the name of Josef Stalin do you think you KNOW better than me how to use and spend my money?

I made the money, not you. You make your money and spend it on whatever the hell you WANT. And I’ll do the same.

Please, for the love of God (oops…silly me…for you…that means yourselves), leave me alone.

Too Fat to Shut Up

Posted by redsatellite on October 15, 2008

According to a knuckleheaded death row inmate in Ohio…obese men and women are too fat to execute. Yah right. Hmmm…took the state of Ohio all of 5 minutes. Guess that hypothesis didn’t work out for you..huh? But I guess if a skinny guy only takes 4 minutes and 45 seconds to be put to death…you may be onto something BUSTER.

An Ohio death row inmate was executed Tuesday after the Supreme Court rejected his last-minute plea that he was too overweight to be put to death.

Richard Cooey was pronounced dead at 10:28 a.m. ET, said Andrea Carson, spokeswoman for the Ohio Department of Corrections. The execution went as scheduled, she said, with “no problems whatsoever.”

Yah. I suspect that the needle and the drugs had NO IDEA how much he weighed.

also contended regular medication he took for migraines would weaken the effectiveness of an anesthetic used in the three-drug cocktail administered during execution. He said his veins were weakened because of his health issues, and the lethal drugs would constitute cruel and unusual punishment.

Cruel and Unusual? Don’t you love it when brutal murderers roll out that bull**** line of defense? Uh…let me remind everyone what kind of ‘fun guy’ this man was:

Cooey and a then-17-year-old accomplice were convicted of the brutal murders of Wendy Offredo and Dawn McCreery, students at the University of Akron. The men had been tossing concrete slabs onto Interstate 77, and one of them struck Offredo’s car.

Pretending to “rescue” the women, Cooey and Clinton Dickens took the victims to a remote field, according to prosecutors. There the students were subjected to a three-and-a-half-hour period of rape, torture, stabbings and fatal bludgeonings. Cooey carved an “X” into the stomachs of both women, prosecutors said.

So what kind of treatment did those 2 girls get, huh Cooey? You pathetic miscreant. But I’ve got good news for you…now that you’re dead….I suspect you’ll be losing…..A LOT OF WEIGHT.

A Nice Hot Cup of Socialism

Posted by redsatellite on October 14, 2008

And on and on and on it goes….the loans, the bailouts, the handouts….never stop.

A Democratic leadership aide said the stimulus package Democrats were drafting would include “a heavy emphasis on help to state and local governments.”
After meeting with the economists, Pelosi, a California Democrat, said the goals of the stimulus package would be “to provide relief for the middle class, to encourage consumer confidence and to have regulatory reform by re-writing the rules for financial institutions.”
Psssst….Nancy. I DON’T WANT YOUR RELIEF. Never have, never will.

Up by 10….Then You Must Win

Posted by redsatellite on October 13, 2008

The Washington Post front page is literally…CHORTLING today. Yah, seems Obama is up by 10 points…and they are making sure we all know it.

Poll: Obama Up by 10; McCain Losing Ground
POST-ABC NEWS POLL Gaining momentum, the Democrat has a clear edge among likely voters as well as lower negative ratings than his rival.
Monday, October 13, 2008 6:48 a.m. ET

With just over three weeks until Election Day, the two presidential nominees appear to be on opposite trajectories, with
Sen. Barack Obama gaining momentum and Sen. John McCain stalled or losing ground on a range of issues and personal traits, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

Good…I’m glad it’s over then. That way if McCain wins…you and every liberal rag in the 50 states…can scream that America is a racist, bigoted, ignorant country that clings to religion and guns.

Al Gore is Snowing Us Again

Posted by redsatellite on October 11, 2008

Meanwhile….up in Idaho…it’s SNOWING. Yah, looks like all that Global Warming has denizens of the great northwest dreaming of a white– uhh- HALLOWEEN!

Boise gets earliest snow on record
Valley shivers as winter weather makes a premature appearance

Big snow flakes fell early Friday evening, turning Downtown Boise into a giant snow globe for people on their way home from work. The snow caught many people off guard, including this bicyclist heading down Idaho Street between 8th and 9th around 5:45 p.m. Across the Treasure Valley, tree branches heavy with wet, snow-covered leaves fell on power lines, causing scattered power outages.

This is the earliest measurable snowfall in Boise since recordkeeping began in 1898, according to the National Weather Service.

1898? ….Heavens to Bing Crosby! Why knock me over with a snowball. Remind me to thank Al…I may have to make that trip to Sun Valley afterall….hmmm…maybe I’ll go- this FRIDAY.

ACORN in Their Side

Posted by redsatellite on October 10, 2008

One of the many dubious relationships that Barack Obama has- or had (the head count is constantly changing) was with ACORN. Heck….ACORN has been under investigation in so many states- we might have 57 states afterall- as Obama once declared.

More than 2,000 voter registration forms filed in northern Indiana’s Lake County by a liberal activist group this week have turned out to be bogus, election officials said Thursday.

The group – the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN- already faces allegations of filing fraudulent voter registrations in Nevada and faces investigations in other states.

A subsidiary of the group was paid $800,000 by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama‘s campaign to register voters for the 2008 primaries, and ACORN’s political wing endorsed Obama back in February. But Obama’s campaign told CNN that it “is committed to protecting the integrity of the voting process,” and said it has not worked with ACORN during the general election.

Yes….a bunch of organizers. Who get paid for every signature they can get…uh…yah…even if it’s the same person over and OVER.

The fix is in…just ask any of the workers at ACORN.

Here He Comes to Save the Day!

Posted by redsatellite on October 9, 2008

Faster than a speeding carbon emitting bullet train, stronger than a local motivated Republican volunteer, able to leap tall building-a-better America in a single bound….it’s Superbama! He fights a never-ending embattled campaign…for a little bit of the truth, liberal justice, and the Socialist Way!

If you don’t believe it’s an Obama World….you only have to pick up a San Francisco Chronicle.

Planet Obama
What would happen if the entire world could vote in our election? One guess

…if you’re a hard-core McCainite and/or are under some sort of unfortunate, chemically-induced delusion that Sarah Palin is just exactly the sort of dangerously harebrained, folksy, winking, nonsensical political confection we all really need right now, well, you might be more than a bit peeved to learn that the entire world has already cast its vote for our next president.

And of course, the world wants Obama.

Overwhelmingly. Crushingly. Rather staggeringly. By quite possibly the largest margin you will see anywhere except maybe Hawaii and D.C. and, well, San Francisco.

Yep….isn’t that JUST SWELL…it’s Obama’s World….and we’re just lucky to be in it! The WHOLE PLANET is ready to vote Obama.

I must be the anti-Christ. I’m showing up on November 4th…to vote against the planet.

Spa Lunkers

Posted by redsatellite on October 8, 2008

Yes. Evidently, American International Group (AIG) executives decided to go exploring- only their new cave was the St. Regis, south of Los Angeles, …and they did it- AFTER the government bailout.

Apparently, these bon vivants….these privileged sybarites…felt they deserved Spa treatments, banquets, and golf outings when their company was BROKE.

Days after it got a federal bailout, American International Group Inc. spent $440,000 on a posh California retreat for its executives, complete with spa treatments, banquets and golf outings, according to lawmakers investigating the company’s meltdown.

AIG sent its executives to the coastal St. Regis resort south of Los Angeles, California, even as the company tapped into an $85 billion loan from the government it needed to stave off bankruptcy.

The resort tab included $23,380 worth of spa treatments for AIG employees, according to invoices the resort turned over to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Say what?

Gee…that’s nice….AIG executives feasted…froliced….and had facials. Meanwhile, we the taxpayers…uh….we got slapped, shafted, and screwed.

UPDATE: Hey brother…can you spare another 37.8 billion?
