The King of All Idiots

Posted by redsatellite on September 24, 2008

There’s the King and I….there’s the King of All Media…..and then there’s Larry Kingthe king of all idiots.

Before Ahmadinejad spoke to the U.N., he told CNN’s Larry King that he is willing to meet with presidential candidates Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama — even in front of the media — to discuss world issues and debate.

Yes. Larry King interviewed Ahmadine-jihad. Imagine Edward R. Murrow interviewing Adolph Hitler. There’s your APT comparison. What in the HELL IS WRONG with Larry King?

Asked whether he fears a U.S. attack, Ahmadinejad told King that attacking Iran would be the “worst thing the U.S. government can do … I think that in the United States, there are enough reasonable people, smart people, who would not allow the U.S. government to make such a big mistake.”

If it wasn’t for Jesse Jackson, Larry King would ALSO be the stupidest man in America. Naturally, King wanted to know what this poor misunderstood Iranian would do if….evil bad nasty awful terrible America were to attack his sweet innocent darling sovereign nation. With liberals, it’s never about anyone else’s despicable behavior, no….it’s always about us…why don’t you know?

We’re the great Satan!

In a blistering speech before the United Nations General Assembly, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blamed “a few bullying powers” for creating the world’s problems and said the “American empire in the world is reaching the end of its road.”

The treacherous Mahmoud may actually be right. He only has to look across the table at feckless Larry King, an American Quisling, to reach that conclusion.

Here on this matter, you and I may just have to respectfully agree to disagree, Red. Personally.. I don’t see why you take such agrieved exception to the possibility of a sit down discussion with the media present between Ahmadinejad and the presidential candidates. Personally.. I think its a fabulous idea. I mean, at last check.. they were not a declared enemy.. are they? We are not at war with them are we? Now true, I would consider them one of those nations we watch veryyyyyy closely on the world stage however I think the old adage holds sway here of

“Keep your friends close and your ‘enemies’ even closer.”

I could quote some useful lines from The Godfather as well that would apply.. but I think you get the picture. I do not by any means say.. throw them a box of Animal Crackers and a napgan and let’s be buddies in the sandbox.. but I think that the more we pick and taunt.. we are CAUSING THE ISSUE and LOOKING FOR A FIGHT. It really is rather a kindergarten sandbox way of dealing with things already, to my visual perspective.

As to your comment about Edward R. Murrow interviewing Adolph Hitler.. oh hell yah! I think he would have jumped at the chance! Why? Because above all else, the man was a true blue news man.. he kept and held the line of what news was supposed to be and what it was supposed to do. You have to likewise remember, that Murrow was on the blackballed hit list of the FBI for telling the TRUTH more than once… he knew what it was like to be unpopular for his personal beliefs and for defending them. I believe, he was called a “commie” back in his day. So do I think he would take the meeting.. oh you betcha. I think he’d likewise take on a meeting with that ‘son of a no good.. ‘ yah.. well.. person in Venezuela too..

I think the real reason we don’t like the President of Iran is because of the rhetoric he uses.. or in the words of Peter Griffin of Family Guy.. he just really “grinds our gears…”
Perhaps if we did a little reverse psychology here .. a little behavioral retraining here.. we could muzzle the barking a bit… most often times, that is what the rabble makers want is just to be heard.

But my point here.. is this.
Just because we don’t LIKE a world leader doesnt mean we can just stick our fingers in our ears and pretend they are not there. We can’t just dictate what WILL BE and HOW ITS GOING TO BE and expect the rest of the world to respect that decision. Perhaps there was a time when we carried that kind of sway. But it isn’t that way anymore.
We may not like that .. but its how it is.

KING: No, no, no. I’m saying just that she’s running, she’s going to be, maybe, vice president.

AHMADINEJAD (through translator): She wants to become the vice president.

KING: Yes, I was just — you were both mayors, right? You have something in common.

    King of all idiots, confirmed.
