The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend

That’s how liberals think these days. The Iraq war is a perfect example.

Hundreds of anti-war activists attending a meeting here [London] on Thursday night were told that their activism was appreciated by the Lebanese Shi’ite group Hizballah. With the fifth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq fast approaching, the British Stop the War Coalition is preparing for a massive demonstration in London on March 15.As part of the run-up, the coalition sponsored an evening with various speakers, including Ibrahim Moussawi, the editor of Al Intiqad, a Lebanese newspaper linked to Hizballah. In a short speech occasionally interrupted by applause and cheers, Moussawi told his audience that it was the support of the anti-war movement that kept Hizballah going during its brief war against Israel in 2006.

They appreciate everything you did and say you are partners in victory,” he said.

Let’s really….really…really…think about this for a moment- shall we? You hate being in a war so much, that you become a beacon of goodwill and a ‘PARTNER’ to a terrorist organization…who then sends a card-carrying member to THANK YOU?

This is how dysfunctional, their thought process is. Imagine British Jews hating the idea of Great Britain fighting in World War II so much that an SS thug stops by to THANK them for their support.

Lindsey German, one of the chief organizers of the coalition, defended her group’s decision to bring Moussawi to Britain, saying it supported anyone who stood against American “imperialism.”

I find this utterly astounding.
