From Behind the Cheddar Curtain

I like the Packers. As long as the Bears and the Cowboys are out of it, I’ll root for Brett and the boys from Green Bay. But this is just…well…wrong:

PORTAGE, Wis. — Upset that his 7-year-old son wouldn’t wear a Green Bay Packers jersey during the team’s playoff victory Saturday, a man restrained the boy for an hour with tape and taped the jersey onto him.

Sad, just sad.

My Karma Ran Over Your Dogma

What goes around- comes around…THANK YOU GOD. Yah..Mike Nifong has now declared bankruptcy. One word: Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.Disgraced and disbarred, Mike Nifong is now bankrupt. The former North Carolina prosecutor, whose career imploded with his botched handling of the Duke University rape case, today filed for bankruptcy, listing liabilities in excess of $180 million.

Almost all of that sum represents legal claims filed against the former Durham County district attorney by members of Duke’s 2006 lacrosse team, including the three players who were accused of raping a stripper at a team party. And if a judge grants him that bankruptcy…they won’t get a dime from him. He is the lowest form of life on the planet.(My apologies to all gutter rats.)
