Driving Me to Drink

Posted by Mark on November 14, 2007

The issue of granting illegal aliens the privilege to drive on U.S. highways, roads, and streets is literally DRIVING ME NUTS. Years ago, California governor Gray Davis (aka…Gumbie) was kicked out of office by a recall election from angry citizens when he mistakingly decided lawbreakers from another country should be allowed to drive.

And now in New York….it’s almost happened again:

New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has decided to abandon a plan to issue driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants, officials familiar with the decision told The Associated Press Tuesday night.

Yah…but here’s the money quote:

“As I’ve said on numerous occasions, this is a tough issue,” Spitzer said Tuesday in New York City. “And it’s one where we’re continuing to try to talk to the public, explain why we took the position that I have thus far, and explain what issues we’re trying to address.

A TOUGH ISSUE? Say what?

No it’s not…you slow-witted boob. It’s one of the simplest issues ever to have been unfortunately raised in the 231 years we’ve been a country….but CONTINUES to have a shelf-life as a result of liberals, democrats, and social moonbats.

This is another non-issue for rightwingers to foam at the mouth to divert from the past six years of dismal failures. Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington don’t require legal status for a driver’s license and it doesn’t appear to be any problem at all.

    “This is another non-issue….”

Tell that to all the families of the victims who have died in traffic accidents at the hands of illegal aliens:

This is but a few of the LITANY of deaths tied to illegal aliens. You’re obviously challenged.

Keep taking that test for your GED. I’m rooting for you.
