New “No Meat Is Safe” Study… Has No Meat

Posted by zaphriel on November 5, 2007

Bebunking the food Nannies scare tactics.

My Favorite line in the article…

The report advises limiting the intake of hamburgers, French fries, milk shakes, pastries and soft drinks. It says that there is “no safe level of consumption” of processed meats a hysterical claim that is not even true for the most poisonous substances.

So lets review…
The world according to the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR).

minute amounts of Arsnic… Survivable

minute amounts of Red Meat… Absolutely Lethal

The AICR advocates against consuming fat, salt, sugar and alcohol– an agenda worth $37 million in charitable donations in 2006. So we shouldn’t be surprised when the food police issue a “report” advancing such a lucrative agenda.

Nuff said.   Visit Junk Science for more.

Moonbat Nephew in the Cellar

Posted by Mark on November 5, 2007

Over the weekend, Barack Obama had this to say about Vice President Dick Cheney:

At a campaign event Saturday, Sen. Barack Obama called his distant cousin, Vice President Dick Cheney, “a crazy uncle in the attic.”

That wonderful deleterious pejorative, led me to the title of my post. If Cheney is a ‘crazy uncle in the attic’- that certainly makes Obama- the Moonbat Nephew in the Cellar.

Obama was referencing the recent revelation by the Vice President’s wife, Lynne Cheney, that he and the Vice President are distantly related.

“The name Dick Cheney, my cousin, will not appear on the ballot,” Obama said. “We had been trying to hide that cousin thing for a long time. Everybody’s got a black sheep in the family. A crazy uncle in the attic.”

I’ve got liberal loons for cousins that belong in a subterranean storm drain…so what’s your point?
